Probably the most unique of many of the MAC-ten options was its threaded barrel. The thread - comparable to a bottle's top - was Obviously noticeable just handed the forward portion of the receiver front and aft in the shorter protruding barrel. This was to support the Werbell-developed sound suppressor (a device different than the usual silencer).
